The latest numbers from the National Consumer Council show that the popularity of American paints dipped from the mid-1990s to the early 2000s.
And in recent years, the percentage of Americans who say they paint their own has remained roughly constant.
“Americans are painting their homes, cars and other personal spaces with paint that has been in the home for years,” says Mark Miller, president of the National Council of Responsible Cosmetology.
The council is a nonprofit group that provides advice to the government on consumer issues.
Miller, along with the American Society of Anesthesiologists, say they believe the reasons paint is popular in the United States are due to its affordability, ease of use, versatility and ease of cleaning.
“The majority of people paint their homes on a regular basis,” Miller says.
“People like the simplicity of using the paintbrush.
In 2016, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission released the National Painting Report, which ranks paint products on safety and durability. “
There are people who do it for aesthetic reasons, but most people just want to be able to have something to put in their hands when they need it.”
In 2016, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission released the National Painting Report, which ranks paint products on safety and durability.
Paint in the report was found to be among the safest products on the market.
In addition to paint, the report also ranked paint brushes, aerosol cans and other products on durability, ease-of-use, convenience and other factors.
Americans have painted their homes for years, Miller says, and the popularity is due to their desire to do it.
“Most people are painting the same colors on their home,” he says.
As more people paint, Miller believes the industry is seeing an uptick in the popularity.
In 2015, the United Kingdom’s largest paint manufacturer, Dyson, was ranked number two in the world in terms of the number of paints sold per capita.
In 2017, it was number three.
Miller says there’s a lot of interest in paint, especially among younger generations.
“We’ve seen a surge in kids getting into paint,” he explains.
“They’re getting into the hobby, especially with younger kids, and they’re using it as a paintbrush for art projects.”
Miller says it’s also important to keep in mind that paint isn’t always as safe as it is for the average consumer.
“If you go to the paint store and buy paint for $2,000, you’re going to be exposed to a very high amount of chemicals,” he adds.
“It’s very difficult to paint a house without some chemicals.
If you do use paint, you have to be careful and be vigilant.”
