Van Gogh paints on a hilltop in Oaxaca

Oaxacan, Mexico — An ollie painted in the hills of Oaxacán, Mexico, shows the artist’s interest in painting on the side of the hill.

It was painted by a painter called “Dante” in the 1920s, but it took several decades before the painting was recognized as Van Goghan’s.

Now it sits on the ground in front of a museum that holds Van Googies paintings.
